We’re delighted to be delivering a key element of Bournemouth Town Centre BID’s ‘Improving Experience’ project.
This was borne out of the results of a significant Bournemouth visitor survey, to address one of the key priorities highlighted, of “improved in-store experience”, and benefitted from ARG3 Grant Funding from BCP Council. So here’s your chance to take advantage of business & customer experience improvement programmes, FULLY FUNDED by the Town Centre BID & BCP Council.
The three core aims of the programmes are as follows:
-
To help businesses in the Town Centre tangibly improve their customer experience
-
To help businesses learn & develop skills & abilities to improve business performance
-
To bring like-minded businesses together to develop an all-round improved experience for Town Centre Businesses
The "Improving Experience" Project has two elements:
Peer2Peer Board for Business Owners/Leaders
Members of the Bournemouth Town Centre BID Peer2Peer Board will benefit from a 10-month programme to create significant improvements in both their business and their customer experience. This will be achieved by bringing together up to 12 non-competing businesses to work on their businesses, creating business improvements and tackling those all-too-common business headaches.
Members will benefit from a 3-hour monthly meeting and monthly one-to-one confidential business mentoring
The programme will be expertly facilitated by Business Advisor, Susannah Brade-Waring, of Aspirin Business Solutions.
The Customer Experience Programme
Delivered by Insight6 to 50 local organisations who are members of the Bournemouth Town Centre BID, this consists of a pre-customer visit, mystery in-store shop then post-communication review, all personalised to your business.
After three months there will be an invite to a shared “Learning Lab” forum where anonymised learning points from all the visits will be shared.
Members of the Peer2Peer Board will automatically be included within this, and the resulting data will be reviewed and discussed.

Presentation of the premises and teams
Customer service interactions online, on the phone, and face-to-face.
Sales Skills - the questioning and listening skills of the team which enables customers to buy, more.
